Sourcing

Every specification on a model page is attributed to the source it was read from, and shows the date it was read. Where two sources disagree, the page says so instead of picking a winner quietly. A figure we cannot source is left blank — an incomplete page is honest, an inferred one is not.

Prices

The Hullside Index reports closed sales, not asking prices, and nothing appears in it until the transaction behind it is documented. We will never publish an illustrative or modelled price as though it were a real one.

People

We report on boats, not on the people who own them. Hullside does not build tag archives or profiles for private individuals, and does not publish the identity of a buyer or seller in a recorded sale.

Corrections

Corrections are marked on the article, dated, and never made silently. Write to us via the contact page.

Our full editorial policy, including disclosure of commercial relationships, will be published here before reporting begins.
